This details our journey in establishing our school. Taking inspiration from the journey Harkaway Hills College in Narre Warren present on their website, this will replace our updates and hopefully ensure more succinct and timely posts of where we are up to!
The group started meeting around 2015. It was decided during 2016 that a formal approach to establishing a school in the Ballarat Diocese should be undertaken and so research began to see what the need for such a school was in the area.
We put out a word of mouth survey in late 2016 to get a feel for indicative 2018 enrolment numbers which returned the following results, noting some families who expressed interest via submission did not list numbers/levels.
| P-12 | 28 |
| P-10 | 19 |
| P-9 | 17 |
| P-8 | 15 |
| P-6 | 10 |
| Families | 11 |
As a comparison, Harkaway Hills College started 2016 Foundation-Grade1 with 13 students, and have this year expanded to F-2 with 28 students! A wonderful testament to trusting in God’s providence.
