January 21st, 2019 Update

Thank you so much for the generosity of our donors to date! Between GoFundMe donations, and direct account donations, we’re close to $2000 so far, only $98000 to go!

Thank you so much to Fr James Kerr for your incredible donation, and to the other anonymous donors as well.

And to all of you, thank you so much for your support, whether financial, spiritual or otherwise – it’s very much appreciated!

Your generosity, combined with the money already personally contributed by committee members, will enable us to pay for the archaeologist engagement, which, importantly, was a planning permit requirement to confirm that there are no Aboriginal artifacts present on the presbytery site that could be disturbed. This is the final requirement needing to be met for the planning permit application, so that phase can now proceed to closure.

We’ve included a summary below of the works that have been funded to date, as well as estimates for the items that we will need to raise funding for throughout 2019.

Do you know of anyone who would be interested in working with the committee?

As momentum builds throughout this year, opportunities for involvement in committee activities will grow!  We will need help with things like communication with Catholic and other organisations who may be interested in supporting us, promotional activities, input into finalising the curriculum, reviewing and editing of VRQA submission documents (e.g. Bullying policies, OH&S policies etc.).

Would you like to join in with our fortnightly meetings to stay updated first hand?

If you or someone you know would like to help out with committee activities, or if you would like to come along to our fortnightly meetings, please email Damian Meade (admin@frassatiballarat.net.au) or Paul Casanova (prslcasanova@gmail.com) and we’ll include you in meeting invitations.

God bless you, and thank you for your support!

Paul Casanova and Damian Meade on behalf of Our Lady of Fatima Linton School Committee.
