Our Lady of Fatima School: 2019 update. We are excited to announce that requirements for the planning permit to open our school at 30 Cumberland St, Linton, in the Catholic Presbytery have all been fulfilled, and we are now waiting to receive the outcome of the planning permit application. This puts us firmly on track to open Prep-6 in 2020, subject to VRQA approval. We have engaged an architect and hope to have formal registration by June 2019. Our curriculum is taking shape and will feature a Choral scholarship, innovative ICT approaches to prepare young people for the workplace, and traditional Catholic education permeating all key learning areas.
We would like to thank all who have joined this grassroots endeavour. In 2019, we will continue to facilitate enrolment information sessions, parenting skills workshops, and regular updates on the school’s progress. For the greater glory of God, we hope to welcome many new faces throughout the year, who will share in the success of this work. Please check the website regularly for more information or contact anyone on the steering committee, and spread the word!
